It's easy to say you want something, but to truly dream and chase those dreams is not easy. You have to be willing to sacrifice things along the way. You have to be willing to understand that things aren't always going to go right. And you're going to have to deal with it.
The journey to dreaming is lonely, you're going to be misunderstood, and people will think you're crazy. So you have to be willing to believe in something even when nobody else does.
To do this, sometimes you need to protect those dreams. Sometimes you don't say them out loud. At least not to everyone. Sure, you can tell the world you're going to win the lottery; that's a dream, but it's not one that requires much work.
The dream of starting a company, becoming a professional athlete, or traveling the world all require sacrifice. People will not understand why you're not going out to lunch with them anymore or don't have the energy to text them back right away. It's not because we think we are any better than anyone else; it's because we are sacrificing things to direct our energy to our dreams.
We sacrifice meals with friends to push our bodies to the limit. We sacrifice our time and mental energy that we could give texting our friends to time learning and studying the next marketing technique or building websites.
To be a dreamer your constantly working, constantly studying constantly sacrificing.

1000000% girl. This past year I have been taking longer to get back to texts, and prioritizing my mental wellness, taking social media breaks, and learning to say no. It is definitely one of the best things I have done. If they are really your friends, they will see the dream they will see the vision and they will understand. Plus in a world that revolves around spending money why not find ways to spend time with friends that dont involve going out to eat but instead do things to help build each others dream?
